As I was sitting on vacation a few years ago, I turned on the TV and saw this crazy looking sport. A wiffle ball, a bigger ping pong paddle and a smaller court. But people were having a lot of fun and it was fast and I said to my self, "I think I can do this".

I entered my 1st tournament , proceeded to get my butt kicked by an 18 year old and a 22 year old, butttttt it was amazing. From that moment this crazy game of pickleball has become my favorite sport.

I have no doubt that most people have a similar story , I know that is what has brought our organization together. A group of like minded men and women that want to improve their games, push each other and have a great time in the process , butttt are also willing to play this great game anytime , anywhere , any weather … that’s what makes us the Arlington Iron Paddles !!!!!!!

We want to welcome you to the Pros vs 5.0s Unique Pickleball Event at the fabulous Belle Haven Country Club . Our goal with this event is simple , we want to see the best women in the world of pickleball compete against some of the best men our organization has to offer. To make it worth their while our gracious sponsors have put up the money to spice things up a bit and add some financial incentive.

You will see 4 doubles matches best 2/3 to 11, each match is worth three thousand dollars if the pros win, ( if the 5.0s win they walk away with $1,000) . You will also see 2 singles matches one game to 15 worth $350 (if the 5.0 wins they will walk away with $350 ). Money has a way of bringing out peoples best efforts.

So we want you to relax, enjoy and root for great matches … Again thank you for attending and if you need anything please don’t hesitate to ask…

BTW our organization also runs beginner clinics, skills clinics , private lessons and tournaments so if you are interested in anything that will improve your pickleball game we want to be the name you trust and remember !!!!!
